Our enthusiasm and commitment to our SEND pupils has resulted in the exciting addition of three new Integrated Resources, which are based at Beck, Whiteways and Hucklow sites. Cascade IR is a thirty-place provision with children allocated a place at the named school dependent upon cohort and each child’s needs. Allocation is completed in conjunction with the Local Authority SENDSARS team. All children within our Integrated Resource have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP). Our provision supports children with a main area of need of Communication and Interaction with a secondary need of Cognition and Learning and/or Social, Emotional and Mental Health. Each resource plans and delivers a personalised curriculum for our more complex SEND pupils which combines life skills, social skills and targeted intervention. All three school bases use the same approaches to support our learners. Our typical day mirrors elements of the mainstream classroom, alongside a bespoke provision to meet individual targets.
We are committed to working alongside parents, class teachers and SENCOs to ensure that each child is equipped with the right skills to successfully integrate, and lead to them achieving their full potential.
